Ozone forecast based on SCIAMACHY and OMI

Introduction

This service provides medium-range forecasts (up to 9 days) of the total ozone distribution. These forecasts are started from ozone analyses based on SCIAMACHY and OMI near-real time ozone columns .

Notes:

• The analysis and forecast is based on an assimilation of near-real time ozone columns produced with the TOSOMI retrieval algorithm applied to SCIAMACHY observations and the OMDOAO3 retrieval algorithm applied to OMI observations.
